ENERGY HARNESSING SYSTEMS

There are mainly three methods for harnessing energy from waves and converting this energy to electricity.

1. Technology uses buoys or float systems that rely on the rise and fall of swells to drive hydraulic pumps. As the wave moves, they will flex and bend as waves pass, produce a movement in the wave energy converter, the machine that transforms kinetic energy into electricity.
2. There are oscillating water column devices that are equipped with vertical pistons which uses buoyancy and gravity to generate energy.
3. lastly , the tapered channel is a shore-mounted structure that channels and concentrates swells into an elevated reservoir where a hydro-power device converts the pressure into electricity.

Eco wave power company , designed a latest technology to generate electricity from ocean or sea waves. Their main goal is to create more energy and power that is clean cheaper, and more effective. This company designed the energy harnessing system from the very first working principle

Eco wave power panels produces electricity from ocean and sea waves.

The aim of these panel is to produce electricity from sea waves.
Floaters of ECO Wave power are attached to the jetty and quays or any man made ocean structure with a flexible arm.
These floaters comes with buoys that sense the rhythmic motion of ocean waves hence the buoys moves up and down.
This motion cause the fluid pressure that is then converted into electricity via generator
Floaters can also sense the height of these waves , because there must a protective mechanism that can tackle the strong waves to protect them from destruction. So during storms these floater will lock automatically and unlock and provides electricity when storm has passed.
This mechanism serves to lock the power-generating buoys and attach them to the dock to protect them from potentially damaging waves.

It can generate upto 100kw power.

The idea behind the wave power is that it can serve more energy than solar or wind .
